Come and join our new online networking community on the SBN NING!!

Entries for SBNs regional business award categories are now closed but the search continues to find NZs most inspiring Social Innovations, Sustainability Champions and Sustainable Design and Innovations.

The economic downturn has created a growing sustainability divide, separating New Zealand businesses that understand and embrace sustainable business practices from those which see it as an "add-on".

SBN Members Shine in Sustainable 60 Series Finalists Announcement

The majority of the recently-named Sustainable 60 Series finalists are SBN members.

The Sustainable 60 series, a Fairfax Media Business Group/PricewaterhouseCoopers programme, is designed to uncover New Zealand's most future proof companies.

More than 110 entries were received for the inaugural Sustainable 60 Awards, from 48 companies across five categories:. Strategy and Governance, Marketplace, Workplace, Community and Environment. Companies were able to submit entries for one, many or all of the categories with several of the companies being named finalists in more than one category.

Many of the finalists in the inaugural Sustainable 60 Awards will be recognisable as either winners or finalists in both the Regional SBN and NZI National Sustainable Business Network Awards in 2009 and previous years.
