Reshaping profit – the SBN story

The Sustainable Business Network has a vision of a transformed business world in which organisations thrive because they cherish the resources and people they depend on. Too often profit is vulnerable, dependent on old modes of thinking and working. Sustainable Business Network members are charting a path to profit we can be proud of - profit that benefits communities, employees and our natural environment as well as shareholders – profit fit for the twenty-first century. Join us on the journey.

We carry out projects and activities in four Transformation Areas to help us realise our vision of making New Zealand a model sustainable nation for the world. You can find out more about Transformation Areas and our new strategy in this infographic.

The Sustainable Business Network was established in 2002 by founder and CEO Rachel Brown as a Not for Profit Incorporated Society. It has grown to become a leading voice in New Zealand business and media, trusted and respected by corporate CEOs, trailblazing innovators, NGOs and political leaders alike.

We provide advice and support to help business succeed through becoming more sustainable. We support our members with practical support, whatever stage you’re at, enabling you to keep ahead of trends and collaborate on solutions, as well as to share your stories and connect with other innovators.
