What or how does your business contribute to a more sustainable NZ?
We have a 6 monthly audit by EcoCert where certifiers from France come and inspect all aspects of our supply chain – from raw materials through to finished product, including our development and manufacturing facilities, to ensure that the organic standards are being followed as per their requirements. EcoCert certify that the business is an approved operator which covers the operations, processes and systems. They then certify individual products. The first section covers the laboratory, factory and warehousing. Officially the business has been 3rd party audited and verified approved to manufacture under their standard.
We use recyclable packaging material such as glass bottles and cardboard cartons as much as possible to minimise waste ending up in landfill.
