A little bit about us

‘We believe that using the freshest, seasonal produce gives our food and drinks an edge that you can taste.’

In November 2010, brothers Jesse Simpson and Shepherd Elliott decided to team up and open Ti Kouka. The perfect team, Jesse runs the front of house, curates the beverage list and serves up beautiful coffee while Shep, the talented head chef, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to produce outstanding food. Helping Jesse manage the floor is Alice, who also serves fantastic coffee and strives to create a memorable experience for all. They are complimented by a talented kitchen crew and a friendly cast of wait staff who, together, bring a warm and inviting environment with food to die for into the heart of Wellington city.

We also offer free range meats, free range (SPCA approved) eggs, organic juices and milk and our fruit and vegetables are delivered to us daily.

We happily (and creatively) cater for people with food intolerances and allergies. Most of our food can be made gluten free and we are the only eatery in town to offer a separate, low FODMAP menu. We are also happy to discuss any other particulars you may have, just have a chat with our wait staff.
