We’ve made it a priority to reduce the impact our products have on the environment. Our aim is to be as circular as possible, through the conscious reuse of the materials we use in our footwear.
Most Kiwis who use safety footwear are on their feet for long hours and the weight of their boots can take a toll. Our products are manufactured using the lightest materials possible to help reduce the weight of our boots, while maintaining functionality.
How we can help you to go circular
When you purchase a pair of TurtleBoots you have the option to send back your old boots to Turtle Footwear for recycling. Simply remove the tag from your new TurtleBoots, attach it to your old boots and send them back to us. We'll separate the rubber outsole and the steel toe cap and send them to manufacturers in Aotearoa New Zealand to be made into something else.
