Textile Reuse Programme
The Textile Reuse Programme is a membership programme enabling organisations to commit to and support a systemic change to a circular system for clothing and textiles in Aotearoa New Zealand. The programme has been running since 2016, under the guidance of a Steering Group.
- Reducing Reducing carbon emissions across key areas of business operations.
- Sharing Sharing and trading existing resources via online platforms, secondhand markets and ‘product as a service’ models to reduce the need for new materials.
- Extending Extending the lifespan of products and materials to keep them in circulation via reuse, repair, refurbishment, and remanufacture.

Usedfully's mission is to support the planet and all beings through systemic change and the circular design and decarbonisation of clothing and textiles. Valuing textile resources by maximising their use to minimise the impacts of what we clothe and protect ourselves with.
- Redesigning Redesigning how systems or products are created so they use less resources, last longer, or get a continued life, and eliminate waste compared to standard industry practices.
- Reducing Reducing carbon emissions across key areas of business operations.
- Sharing Sharing and trading existing resources via online platforms, secondhand markets and ‘product as a service’ models to reduce the need for new materials.
- Extending Extending the lifespan of products and materials to keep them in circulation via reuse, repair, refurbishment, and remanufacture.
- Recycling Recycling or composting waste materials into reusable materials.
