What we do
We support communities around Aotearoa New Zealand to prevent litter and restore waterways by working with schools, corporates and community groups.
We do this through large-scale clean-up events, educational programmes, public awareness campaigns, catchment-based freshwater restoration and citizen science environmental monitoring.
How we can help you to go circular
Our events connect people with nature, a proven way to improve mental health. According to a Mental Health Foundation survey, 95% of those interviewed said their mood improved after spending time in nature, reducing depressed, stressed, and anxious moods and promoting feelings of calm and balance. Our events incorporate being active, volunteering, connecting with others, and doing something with purpose - all activities associated with positive mental health. Engaging your workplace with our mahi also offers epic content, storytelling and marketing opportunities. Increase your brand preference and sustainability profile and generate significant goodwill with staff, clients and potential customers. Join our whānau by signing your workplace up for a staff volunteering programme with us. Become a programme funder, or charity sponsor, and be viewed as a company that helps to protect the things that New Zealanders love — our coastlines and waterways.
