  • Profile

Mangere East is a locality based community enterprise in Mangere/Otahuhu seeking full circle sustainable solutions for children & families. Our passions include zero waste, waste recovery & microbusiness. We operate with a whanau and Pacific focus.

Mangere East’s core business is family support and social work including early childhood education and parenting support. Among these services there are specific supports for Pacific peoples, transgender, financial literacy, whanau reconciliation and relationship development.

To support these services there is a business team, a men’s shed, and a waste minimization project creating opportunity for networked sustainable gardens plus microbusiness development.

ME is working towards being a zero waste, full circle sustainable community enterprise.

ME is currently developing business plans for a ‘sustainability village’ in Mangere including a resource recovery centre.

While we are developing our website we utilise social media. Find us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/MEFSC and https://www.facebook.com/wastechamps.
