Anne Blakeway

Anne manages Council Controlled Organisations’ Governance and Relationships at Tauranga City Council. She previously worked in Community Development where she led sustainability.

As Global Capability Development Manager at Manuka honey manufacturer Comvita, Anne led sustainability with restorative projects such as Trees That Count, as well as social initiatives. She has extensive experience in a broad range of stakeholder engagement and project management functions, in both the public and private sector in New Zealand and overseas.  Anne recently graduated from the University of Waikato with an MBA with Distinction and has held Board roles with Tourism Bay of Plenty, Tauranga Waldorf School and ARRC Wildlife Trust.
