Wise Boys is a business run by two brothers who left corporate careers in pursuit of creating a zero-waste, ethical business. Sustainability is at the heart of Wise Boys: from the 100% plant-based homemade burger patties to the zero waste, compostable packaging and locally sourced ingredients.
Wise Boys started with a food truck in early 2016. They built it from recycled materials, and sold meatless burgers. Since then, they have launched an award-winning aioli and mayonnaise and opened a flagship takeaway shop in Grey Lynn, Auckland. Their aioli and mayo are stocked in boutique stores across the country and will soon be available in New World supermarkets.
Wise Boys want to champion the plant-based food movement by showing it can be eco-friendly delicious. They won a silver medal in the 2019 Outstanding NZ Food Producers Awards.
