A capital idea: Funding your business

Do you want to know what different types of funding might be right for your business – bank, seed capital or crowd funding?

This event brings together four types of funding options to help you identify which would be best for your business or concept. KiwiBank, Armillary Capital and PledgeMe will talk about how they can support businesses with different funding requirements, with plenty of time for probing questions so you can get the answers you need, and network with drinks and nibbles.

Ākina will also talk about their Investment Readiness Grants, supported by Kiwibank and Tindall Foundation, which provide social enterprises and mission-driven organisations with grants for business, financial, legal and other capacity building support from professional providers to help them secure investment. The grants are open for applications at the moment so come along to learn about whether this grant is right for you.

PledgeMe offers three different ways that organisations and people can crowdfund to support their project: PledgeMe projects, PledgeMe Equity and PledgeMe Lend. Each type of funding lends a different and nuanced approach to the crowdfunding experience.

Armillary Private Capital is grounded in our purpose, methodology and experiences, having worked with a range of New Zealand businesses through all stages of the business lifecycle from startup to maturity. Whether private, listed or government-related Armillary have seen and experienced the roller-coaster rides business owners and managers endure – allowing them to quickly identify your needs and find the right solution.

Yummy drinks and delicious nibbles will be offered as part of your ticketed entry price. Special thanks to Hallertau and Yealands for sponsoring our drinks, Armillary for providing the nibbles and Kiwibank for supplying the venue!
