Breakfast of Champions – Christchurch

Breakfast together presents a great opportunity to build a community of practice so that we can support each other’s journey going forward. Connect with other champions by picking their brains and learning from their experiences.

We are excited to be able to hold our next Breakfast of Champions at The Fermentist, which features mostly local and 100% delicious plant-based foods.

At the next Breakfast of Champions, we will have a presentation from Michael Reynolds, an independent food system change catalyst creating and supporting ways for the people of Christchurch and Aotearoa to access healthy, locally produced food. Michael’s role is to support those doing good work and to engage new people in the conversation around food resilience in our city.

He works both at a grassroots hands-in-the-soil level right through to co-leading the development of the Aotearoa Food Resilience Charter. The Charter is an opportunity for business to understand and commit to operating in a way that is regenerative for our communities. He is really keen to work alongside passionate business owners to figure out the detail of what that might look like in balance with their business objectives.
