Building a better, healthier, greener Aotearoa post COVID-19

Join us on Wednesday 13 May 2020, just one day before the Government’s Budget, for a Green Building Council-hosted panel discussion, diving in to the big topics of our economic recovery, the opportunities to leap forward to a zero carbon Aotearoa with healthier homes and buildings for New Zealanders, and the possibilities to create thousands of new green collar jobs.

Award-winning journalist Nadine Higgins will MC the discussion as panellists including Kevin Hague, head of Forest and Bird, top economist Shamubeel Eaqub, Future Thinker of the Year and Panuku’s corporate responsibility advisor Tessa Meyer and chief executive of Ngāi Tahu Property David Kennedy outline their vision, and debate the role the building and construction industry can play in creating a healthier, lower carbon Aotearoa, while also providing the economic boost needed right now.
