Join Commonsense Organics at a fun and educational morning of cycling around three of Wellington’s buzzing urban gardens to learn about organic regenerative practices that are happening in our local community. Learn about composting, worm farming, permaculture practices and heaps more!
Bring your own bike or free eBikes will be available from SwitchedOn Bikes (limited number available, please email SwitchedOn bikes at firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve an eBike and tell them your height and whether you need a step-thru/easy entry bike).
Please note that you will be riding on the road with bike guides.

- Innermost Gardens, Mt Victoria
Schedule of the morning:
9am Meet at Switched On Bikes, Wellington Waterfront. Switched On Bikes will brief the group on riding on the roads in a group, and provide instruction on how to ride their electric bikes.
9.15am Ride to Berhampore
9.40am Berhampore Community Orchard
10.40am Ride to Kaicycle
12.00pm Ride to Innermost Gardens
12.15pm Innermost Gardens. Light refreshments provided
1.15pm Ride to Switched on Bikes
1.30pm Cycle tour ends
You are then warmly invited back to lunch and drinks at the Sustainability Trust to hear some of NZs best practising urban regenerative farmers speak about how urban farms can preparing us to be climate change ready!
