The Now Crowd presents: PLASTICS (Bay of Plenty)

Our plastic problem is real. There is a huge amount of plastic piling up and the only place it can go is into landfill or straight into our environment. This has resulted in a national and global shift in understanding how innovation can drive sustainable solutions for the plastics crisis.

The Now Crowd Bay of Plenty is hosting a launch event for the Plastics Sprint! Let’s take a deep dive into the plastics problem. We will explore what a sustainable future in regard to plastics may look like, focusing on what this might mean for your business.

The evening will involve presentations from the experts, each with a different focus to ensure we have a holistic, systems- level conversation. We’ll be learning how to eliminate, innovate and circulate our way out of this mess!

Speakers include:

  • Nada Piatek – Founder and Managing Director, Again Again
  • Nikki Withington – Packaging Consultant, SQUARE ONE LTD

The Sustainable Business Network is leading the charge in providing clarity on New Zealand’s plastic packaging system. We are collaborating with brands, industry experts and regulators to ensure we successfully transition to a waste free, pollution free, low carbon circular economy.
