The first annual Circular Economy Awards will be launched at the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos, and you’re invited to enter.
Organisations and individuals working in the circular economy are invited to enter the Circular Economy Awards (‘The Circulars’), which is an initiative of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders, in collaboration with Accenture and 2degrees network.
The Circulars recognise individuals and organisations from commerce, civil society and academia that have made a notable contribution to driving Circular Economy principles and business models.
“We would be delighted if members of the Sustainable Business Network would consider participating in this exciting initiative. We would also encourage you to share this invitation with anyone in your network who is driving circular economy principles,” says Alison Azaria from 2degrees network
“The awards will be presented at a prestigious gala dinner at the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos in January 2015, and winners will have the opportunity to showcase their ground breaking circular economy work in front of a high-profile audience.”
There are five award categories:
- Circular Economy Leadership
- Circular Economy Entrepreneurship
- Circular Economy Pioneer
- Circular Economy Digital Disruptor
- Circular Economy Cities/Regions
Entries close on 31 October 2014.
