Social Innovation NZ is looking for professionals with experience in social enterprise, innovation, start-ups or business planning to act as mentors for students at The University of Auckland.
The Kickstart Challenge, run by The University of Auckland, aims to familiarise students with social enterprise and encourage them to make their ideas happen. The challenge gives university students the opportunity to engage with social issues in their community through an entrepreneurial approach.
Social Innovation NZ is currently looking for mentors to work with the students to help them generate ideas and meet their targets. Mentors would be assigned to a Kickstart team and would support them throughout their ideation process. The commitment would involve attending two one-hour meetings. The first meeting would take place during the week 31 March-5 April 2014.
