Sustainability Trust – Matariki Market.
2 Forresters Lane
Join Sustainability Trust for an eco-market which celebrates community and environmental responsibility at Matariki.
Matariki is a time for connecting with friends and whanau, reflecting on the past, and focusing on the future. Catch up with friends and whanau over a Fair Trade coffee and pick up some warming winter kai while you browse the market stalls.
If you’ve been thinking about your impact on the environment then Matariki is a great time to find new ways of doing things.
Our community of stallholders have plenty of products to help you make changes to your home and lifestyle that will benefit you and the environment. There will be homewares, products to replace single-use plastics, locally made fashion, food and preserves, and of course our own EcoShop will have a full range of products to keep your home warm and dry this winter.
Stallholders include Munch, Aida Maeby, Matiu Dispensary, Peoples Coffee, Ritual Tea, Boomerang Bags, Lil Mooch, Bagatelle Bags, Okewa Rainwear and Defender Bags with more to be announced closer to the time.
Matariki is a time to think about the future and winter is the perfect time to learn new skills. We will have a series of quick fire workshops and presentations for some eco-friendly inspiration and fresh ideas to keep you busy over the long winter months.
New technology is always exciting and we will have electric cars and experts on site if you are considering making the switch to electric.
