As a Senior Advisor, Kimberley supports businesses to move from extractive to regenerative practices. Kimberley leads the systems change work within SBN’s Regenerate Nature Programme to bring nature into the heart of organisations’ decision making. Kimberley previously led SBN’s Climate Action 20/25 Programme, and is an internal subject matter expert on climate change and nature. Based in Wellington, they also support network engagement across Te Whanganui-a-Tara.
Kimberley’s work on sustainability solutions began with research on materials for solar panels. After completing their PhD as a Rhodes Scholar, Kimberley worked in corporate sustainability before joining the SBN team. She loves continuing to learn and share learning with others. Kimberley also enjoys connecting with nature through tramping trips and regular volunteering with local restoration projects. Their other hobbies include running, singing, and reading fantasy and science fiction. Kimberley is non-binary and uses they/them and she/her pronouns.
