Could the ground beneath your business provide a more efficient, resilient and lower-carbon source of heating, cooling and process heat?
Most Auckland businesses are familiar with solar energy, but few realise the ground beneath us stores stable thermal energy that can be harnessed to heat and cool buildings, supply process heat, and reduce energy costs and emissions. Known as geoheat, this proven technology is already being used by businesses across New Zealand and around the world—and advances in ground-source heat pumps mean it's no longer limited to geothermal hotspots like Rotorua or Taupō.
Join the New Zealand the Geothermal Association, EECA, Climate Connect Aotearoa, and the University of Auckland for a breakfast event that explores where geoheat works, how the technology is being applied in New Zealand, and how to determine whether it's a viable option for your business or project.
This event is designed for:
Businesses that use continuous heating, cooling or process heat
Developers, Architects, Engineers
Energy professionals
You'll learn:
What geoheat is and how it works
Where it can be used in Auckland
The latest geoheat technologies
New Zealand case studies and applications
