Convergence for a Carbon Transition 2020 – 2030

The Convergence is an exploration of the transition to low carbon. To minimise the carbon footprint of participants, the conference event will be run simultaneously at Auckland University of Technology, Victoria University of Wellington and the University of Canterbury by connecting the three venues through video-links. There is also the option of attending the conference online.

At this year’s conference, prepare to have your current thinking challenged, your perspective of what’s possible shifted and your view of future opportunities expanded. The best “shift projects”, coming from this year’s online course and workshop participants are going to be presented to you. In addition to getting an “insider’s” glimpse at these results, you will also be challenged by renowned speakers covering topics such as:

  • Economics for the Future – How our current economic system is set to change and what that means for doing business
  • Kaitiakitanga – intergenerational thinking and balancing Kaitiaki Stewardship and Commerce
  • Getting to ZERO without breaking everything – Discovering your pathway

and you will have the opportunity to submit your questions to our panel of experts.

The Convergence addresses CEOs, owners or senior managers as well engineers of progressive, forward thinking companies.
