What we do
Palletite replaces disposable stretch film. Our logistics industry is currently using vast amounts of plastic film a day. (The FMCG industry wraps more than 8,000 pallets a day. Each pallet load uses more than 50 metres of film, which in total is 400km a day. There are multiple other industries wrapping hundreds of pallet loads a day). Palletite is reusable and repairable. We offer wholesale as well as leasing options.
There are cost savings, operational efficiencies and increased safety by using Palletite.
How we can help you to go circular
Most businesses shipping products via pallet loads use ‘disposable’, hard to recycle plastic stretch film on them. Each pallet load uses about 50 metres of this and costs around $1 - $2.
Palletite takes half the time to apply (the average time to wrap a pallet with film is 2.5 minutes. Palletite takes just about one minute). Its height adjustable for any size of pallet. It’s made from woven polythene 20 times stronger than stretch film. Our mission is to keep each unit circulating for decades.
Local manufacture enables efficient our units. They can simply be transferred to our facility for repairs. The cost of repairs is cheaper than continuous stretch film use and disposal. At the end of life, our units are cleaned, stripped and responsibly recycled. Each Palletite (six metres of polythene) saves 50 metres of polyethylene (LLDPE). 100 uses = 5km stretch film saved or 1,000 uses = 50km of stretch film saved for each Palletite unit.
