How do we enable citizen-driven decision making? How can Wellington lead globally on climate action? What is the role of citizens in that?
The challenges we work on are complex. We all know that single solutions and silver bullets won’t be the answer, but the answer is also not just layering up single solutions. We need to figure out how to take action differently – what does it really mean to use innovation and partnerships to deliver complex solutions to complex challenges? What does it mean to be a citizen rather than a consumer? How can we use different thinking, and lead globally on climate action?
Join us for breakfast and a panel discussion, featuring Jon Alexander, a UK social entrepreneur and author of the book Citizens, and Ashleigh Sagar, lead for Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira on te taiao and climate change.
