Join us for this webinar hosted by NZGBC to learn about how Circularity worked with Profile Group to measure, validate, and improve circular material flows across packaging.
Transitioning to a circular economy is essential to addressing the 45% of emissions from the way we make, use and dispose of products. We know that sustainability is no longer enough, and that there is no such thing as “away” when it comes to our waste; we need to find ways to keep materials in use and at their highest value, design out waste and pollution, and reduce our emissions.
For circular economy solutions to make the biggest impact, we need fit-for-purpose tools that measure, validate, and provide transparency across our systems and operations. Profile Group has been working with New Zealand’s circular economy practitioners at Circularity to redesign their products and material flows to be more circular. Through this collaboration, Profile Group has recently become New Zealand’s first business to use the Circular Transitions Indicator tool developed by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, to measure the circularity of their products, material flows, and systems across their entire supply chain.
Profile Group, parent company to APL Window Solutions, has been working with New Zealand’s circular economy practitioners at Circularity to redesign their products and material flows to be more circular.
Join Mikayla Plaw, Profile Group’s Executive Director and GM of Organisational Development and Sustainability, and Samantha Walmsley-Bartlett, Circularity’s Environmental Strategist to hear about Profile Group’s journey in using the CTI tool, rethinking their entire supply chain and operations, and specifically how they are designing out waste and pollution.
