Adventure Capital is a tourism business offering camp, hike and bike adventures in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. We offer self-guided and guided bike tours, as well as a range of gear rental options and all inclusive package deals.
Our team has extensive knowledge of the hiking and biking trails around New Zealand, as well as the Department of Conservation campgrounds. Let us help you plan your next outdoor adventure holiday in New Zealand!
Guided experiences include guided bike tours and guided e-bike tours – half day, full day and multi-day cycling tours available, with options to suit all ages and abilities.
Our service enables travellers to hire everything they need for their next New Zealand adventure, rather than purchasing everything needed. This saves not only money, but also helps save the environment. Most big-box retailers in this country offer low-grade outdoor equipment such as tents and sleeping bags which are not designed to last the distance. Many tents are so poorly constructed they last just one camping trip. Every summer, landfills around the country are clogged with discarded poor quality gear.
Users of our service also often comment on how much more convenient it is to leave the cleaning and maintenance of gear to us, while they just enjoy a great value for money holiday.
Visit our website to find out more or call in and see our Auckland team at our store located at Unit D, 80 Wyndham Street, Auckland City.
We look forward to meeting you soon!
- Clean Energy-Energy Efficiency
- Smart Transport
We actively encourage sustainable transport through our Auckland bike and e-bike rental service, and have encouraged many thousands of people to give biking another go.
We encourage people to practice 'leave no trace' camping in NZ. We actively discourage visitors from freedom camping due to the significant negative impact this is now having on our environment and on small communities around the country.
We advocate staying in Department of Conservation campgrounds (rather than freedom camping) and ensure all customers are aware of current environmental concerns (such as Kauri Die Back disease).
We have also gained Pest Free Warrant status from the Department of Conservation to help protect the pest free islands of the Hauraki Gulf.
At the end of every season, we recycle our ex-hire inventory by "rehoming" it with willing new owners.
We also actively encourage involvement in volunteer conservation programmes run by various local councils and government departments.Awards and Certifications: Other
