Positive community impact is at the core of Hubbards’ ethos. Since being established in 1988, Dick Hubbard’s commitment to helping others has been instilled across the company.
It has led to Hubbards supporting hundreds of community programmes that have wellness, health and combatting social issues at the core.
Community projects supported by Hubbards include: supplying over 80,000 boxes of cereal to Breakfast Club Kids and other organisations; developing a staff wellness programme; donating money for three Amazing Heroes to give their community initatives a boost; and providing funds, cereal and a team of employees to cook at Ronald McDonald House three times a year.
Hubbards focuses on grass-roots support for the community and its initiatives are designed to help with pressing social issues and set a great example for future generations.
Hubbards is a finalist in the 2015 NZI Sustainable Business Network Awards in the Community Impact category.
