On Saturday 28 March at 8:30 pm, cities, businesses, schools, landmarks, and people across New Zealand will go dark for Earth Hour—the world’s largest grassroots movement for the environment.
There has never been a more important time to take action. The climate crisis, habitat loss, and plastic pollution are putting Aotearoa New Zealand’s ecosystems in peril and pushing many of our unique species toward extinction.
Sign up to switch off and join millions around the world raising their voices for nature. You’ll also have the opportunity to urge our leaders to protect more of our planet, host or attend an Earth Hour event, and pledge to make simple lifestyle changes.
Together, we can create a more sustainable future!
