Nelson Environment Centre - Kai Rescue
The Kai Rescue programme was established in 2017 with the aim of minimising food waste in our community. Our team collects food from supermarkets, growers, manufacturers and other food outlets that is good enough to eat but is surplus or non-saleable.

Nelson Environment Centre - E Waste
At the Nelson Environment Centre, we will recycle your electronic waste to keep it out of landfill and reuse what we can. When possible, we will extend the life of a product by repairing and upgrading it for resale. We accept anything with a plug or battery, apart from large whiteware and oil heaters.
